The Farley Foundation is a charitable organization that was founded by the OVMA (Ontario Veterinary Medical Association) that helps residents of Ontario who are seniors, disabled or are leaving an abusive relationship with emergency veterinary care. Established in 2002, the Farley foundation has helped over 8,400 pets receive veterinary care.

The Farley foundation has two major fundraisers throughout the year. In September people in the veterinary industry can participate in The Ride for Farley. This is a fundraiser where participants commit to cycling 50, 100 or 160km and also commit to a specified fundraising goal. In October, animal hospitals participate all month long to raise funds for the foundation. Clinics can choose how they would like to participate in the fundraiser. This can vary from donation boxes, bake sales, and nail trims to open houses and car washes. One veterinarian was rumoured to have shaved her head when her clients donated enough to meet her fundraising goal!

We very proud to be a loyal supporter for this wonderful organization!
